A whitewater kayaking film capturing the intensity of Mexico’s world-class river, the people who bring the sport to life, and the passion that drives us to chase adventure that for some people is a warm up and for others is pushing the limits.

I made this film because I wanted to share what keeps pulling me back to the river. The trip to Mexico began with two things: visiting fellow guides who called Mexico home and getting on some of the most renowned whitewater in the world. Somewhere along the way, the experience became about more than the rapids. Meeting Reilly, Fin, and Jackson reminded me that the people you meet while chasing something you love can become just as meaningful as the adventure itself. This film is a snapshot of that world, the water, the energy, the people, and the feeling that comes from throwing yourself into something you care about. It's also a marker of my own progression, both as a kayaker and as a filmmaker. Looking back at the footage, I can see how far I've come, and it's the work I'm proudest to put my name on. At its core, this is a film made for the Wet Whips community (a community nickname I coined for all the people I've boated with) and for anyone who knows what it feels like to be consumed by a passion. I hope it makes people want to get outside, find their people, and chase that feeling for themselves.
Réalisation
Morgan Pellowski is an adventure filmmaker and photographer with a deep-rooted love for wild places, human connection, and the pursuit of experiences that make her feel most alive or draw out a sense of child like play, whatever comes first. Drawn to the intensity of adventure and the freedom of being immersed in the natural world, she uses filmmaking as a way to capture the moments, people, and places that leave a lasting impression on her. A kayaker, snowboarder and climber herself, Morgan is drawn to the world behind the action as much as the action itself, the friendships formed on a pursuit, the challenges that push her to grow, and the childlike sense of wonder that comes from chasing something purely because she loves it. Through her work, she hopes to share that feeling with others and inspire them to pursue the things that make them feel alive. Hi, she is me, I am her. Thank you for reading my bio.
