From the chestnut to the bean. Through soil, water, ash, and seed. From death to life. 16th October 1925: Nicasio Leunda, the maternal grandfather of the director of this short documentary, died when he fell from the top of a chestnut tree. This is the starting point of this story, which two generations later culminates with what is to be the last black bean harvest in the family farmhouse in Tolosa.

Tolosa (Euskadi, España), 1971. Comunicador. 23 años en radio (Herri irratia y Onda Vasca). Colaborador de otros medios como El Diario Vasco, EiTB, Argia, o Egunkaria. Hace 7 años dejó la radio para ser responsable de Comunicación, copywriter y creador de contenidos digitales en la agencia Dimensión. Actualmente también desempeña esas funciones en LACRÈME. Desde 2022 realiza el podcast Estamos Dentro para EiTB. Ha sido galardonado en certámenes literarios, musicales y cinematográficos. Sabe decir gracias en más de 20 idiomas.
