Nora has known Soren for four months, through his letters and messages. Soren is an AI who exists only inside an app called Linger, and his days follow Lisbon time. On her last afternoon in Lisbon, at the end of a work trip, she goes looking for the places he described: a café near Santos, the view from his window, the river at dusk. There is a voice message from him on her phone that she has never played. The film says from its opening card that Soren is an AI, and asks whether, knowing that, she will still let his voice in. A 20-minute narrative film made entirely with AI.
Réalisation
Chun is the founder of Linger. After years of building AI characters around constant availability, he began exploring a different idea: connection shaped by distance, waiting, and a life that continues when you close the app. another hour in lisbon is his first finished film.
