Synopsis

Trapped in a reality that seems to follow its own rules, a man begins to notice glitches that challenge his understanding of the world around him. As a mysterious voice attempts to guide him toward awakening, the boundaries between consciousness, memory, and reality become increasingly uncertain.

Director

Israel Nascimento, professionally known as Kael Mirov, is a Brazilian filmmaker and audiovisual artist based in Salvador, Bahia. His work explores experimental narratives, psychological themes, and the relationship between image, sound, and human perception. He is the founder of NULA Films, an independent production company dedicated to experimental cinema and films driven by artistic expression. His short film Ruído (2025), which he wrote, directed, and edited, marked an important step in his exploration of psychological storytelling and sound design. With NEXUS (2026), Nascimento continues to investigate consciousness, memory, and reality through a combination of science fiction, psychological suspense, and experimental filmmaking.
