A year of photographs, each edited into its own fractured world, collides into a single hallucinatory stream. Memory, strangers, and the planet itself twist together until the boundaries between them dissolve. What emerges is not a story but a vision — a hypnotic meditation on how we remember, how we see, and how the world remembers us back.
Director
Filmmaker Biography Danial Mirian is an independent filmmaker from Iran whose work explores the boundaries between image, sound, memory, and subjective experience. Working primarily within experimental and artistic cinema, he is interested in the ways film can move beyond conventional storytelling to create immersive, ambiguous, and deeply personal experiences. His artistic approach is shaped by an interest in solitude, freedom, the inner world, and the overlooked details of everyday life. Through the interplay of visual composition, sound, voice-over, and fragmented imagery, he explores the tension between individual perception and the surrounding social reality. Rather than providing definitive answers or following linear narratives, his films invite viewers to engage with uncertainty and construct their own interpretations. His practice reflects an ongoing search for a personal cinematic language in which form becomes as significant as content.
