Hidden among the pine trees behind Paterna Cemetery, in Valencia, Spain, lies the Paredón de España, a place that bears witness to one of the darkest chapters in the country’s history. During the Spanish Civil War, it became one of the main sites of execution. Today, this wall stands as a silent reminder of Francoist repression, left neglected and still awaiting the recognition and protection it deserves.
