In a Malaysian Chinese New Village, a news report about a “30-minute pass to heaven” leads two young brothers to believe they might see their grandfather again. Unable to afford a ticket and unsure of heaven’s address, the younger brother turns to the adults around him for answers. When his questions lead nowhere, the brothers decide to find their own way to deliver a letter to Grandpa. Through the earnest eyes of two children, An Address in the Sky explores their attempts to make sense of death—and their stubborn belief that love can still reach someone, wherever they may be.
