Sinopsis

Hidden from human eyes, cats and dogs maintain a secret world of their own, preserving the traditions of the past and continuing to use old-fashioned tools and ways of life to keep their society concealed from humans. The Catfather takes viewers into a unique feline gangster world filled with loyalty, rivalry, romance, music, and the everyday concerns of cats. From their fascination with yarn and food to their relationships and the customs they have inherited from the past, their lives reveal a hidden society with its own rules, traditions, and way of seeing the world. Behind the familiar faces of our animal companions lies a secret world that continues to thrive beyond human awareness, where old traditions endure and the lives of cats are far more fascinating than they appear. After watching this film, you may begin to question the behavior of cats and dogs—and you may never see their world, or everyday life itself, in quite the same way again.

Acerca de la película

What if the cats and dogs we see every day had a secret world of their own—one hidden from human eyes? The Catfather invites viewers into an imaginative feline gangster society where cats and dogs preserve the traditions of the past, keeping their world concealed from humans. While the human world moves forward, this hidden society continues to rely on old-fashioned tools, familiar customs, and traditional ways of life, protecting a way of living that humans know nothing about. At the heart of this unusual world is the culture of the feline underworld, where loyalty, rivalry, romance, and music are woven into everyday life. Yet the concerns of these characters are not always what humans might expect. Yarn, food, relationships, and the small pleasures and frustrations of being a cat all have their place in this distinctive society. Blending a gangster-inspired atmosphere with humor, romance, and musical elements, The Catfather offers a playful and imaginative look at the lives our animal companions might lead beyond our awareness. Beneath their familiar appearances, cats and dogs may have customs, ambitions, relationships, and secrets of their own. After watching this film, you may find yourself questioning the behavior of cats and dogs around you. Their seemingly ordinary actions might never look quite the same again—and everyday life may hold more mysteries than you ever imagined.
