Nickelodeon gets the go ahead for 20 episodes of a new tv show, featuring hot musicians and – who else – but some serious Nick royalty!
Clevver TV is back, and I’m Dana Ward with the New TV Show Preview on ‘Big Time Rush’.
This comedy almost seems like it could be a documentary about a reality show search, because it follows a teen, played by Kendall Schmidt from Gilmore Girls and AI and how he somehow gets discovered at a casting call by a big-time record exec, actor Stephen Glickman. The 16-year-old must choose between living a normal life back in Minnesota or pursuing a Hollywood music career. He then manages to persuade the executive to get his best friends to join him in Tinseltown where they all go through intense training to become a pop group. The ‘Big Time Rush’ BFFs are played by actors, James Maslow from iCarly, Carlos Pena from Ned’s DeClassified School Survival Guide and Logan Henderson. As the story goes, these guys all travel out to the sunny SoCal with Kendall’s mom and sister where they start career development and quickly realize it’s way more competitive than they thought.
The cool thing about this show is that the BFFs will perform actual original songs for the Nickelodeon show. See Columbia/Epic Label Group definitely teamed up with the network, and therefore, some of the industry’s VERY BEST songwriters and producers will be working on the musical acts in the show.
With 20 episodes already ordered for ‘Big Time Rush’, one can only assume that the best friend band “makes it” in Hollywood. I mean, Nickelodeon couldn’t possibly drag out 20 shows of the guys training in a Pop Group 101 class…. or could they? Your guess is as good as mine!

Virat shows them Dharamraaj & Santus wedding picture on a newspaper. He even shows them the news flashing in the television showing footages of their marriage. All are stunned to see the proof. Virat tells them that he has got Santu along which is the biggest proof of their marriage. As Virat is entering the house to take Santu along, Dharamraaj reaches there. Virat offers him sweet to congratulate him for marriage. Virat gets a call from his factory about the fire which broke out in the factory. Dharamraaj tells Virat that this is the result of his intentions of creating nuisance in Dharamraajs family. Dharamraaj tells Virat that soon he will see the result of entering his Surats Guest house. He again gets a call from the Surat Diamond Association stating that he has lost his consignment & it is now handed over to Dharamraaj. Virat is stunned & destroyed. Dharamjraaj tells Pinakin to leave, asks Santu to wait outside & he enters the house. His elder sister asks about his marriage, Dharamraaj tells her that only Guruji can answer it. Dharamraajs sister sees Santu at the entrance & does not allow her to enter the house as she is a lower caste. She takes her to some other room which is actually a filthy store room. Santu feels very bad when she is not allowed to enter the house & is taken to a store room. She is left there to stay alone in a dark & gloomy room.
Take a dip into the shallow end of the pool and watch these half-hour blocks of classic Mondo Mini-shows and Icebox episodes from the archives. Just dont be surprised when the water turns yellow.
In the morning, all are busy in their routine work. Santu has gone to the lake to wash clothes. Khemi explains Madho that he should accept the proposal & get Santu married. Khemi tells Madho that she will explain Santu also as this will be good for all of them. In the canteen, all workers are having food & Jagmohan makes a plan against Dharamraaj with the help of a cockroach. Dharamraaj is worried about the consignment as only 3 days are left. A worker informs him that Jagmohan has stopped the work in the factory. Dharamraaj goes to the canteen & Jagmohan shows him a plate of rice with a dead cockroach. He blames Dharamraaj for providing unhygienic food to his workers. Dharamraaj takes another plate of rice & eats it so that the workers again build a trust in him. Dharamraaj warns Jagmohan for creating any more hurdles in his work. Santo comes home & tells Madho that Santo is ready for the wedding. All are very happy but Santo is a bit sad as she agreed to marry only for her family. Santu is sitting alone in an old Haveli & crying. While clicking pictures in the same old Haveli, Shashank notices Santu crying, he tries to pacify her. Shashank feels that Santu is upset because Khemi is getting married. He informs her that he is going out for two days & after returning he wants to talk to Santu about many things. He leaves. Santu does not tell him that she is getting married. Workers are working in the factory & Mahesh comes & gives them the news of his marriage with Santu. He invites everybody for his wedding which is after 2 days & the same day is the last day of consignment also. Jagmohan again makes a plan & takes advantage of this opportunity & tells the workers to attend Maheshs wedding.

Tarulataben sees Khemi revealing about the incident to Santu. She warns them to keep shut else she will throw Santu out of the house. Khemi & Santu get scared & decide to conceal the truth. Everybody is dancing & enjoying & Mauliks bracelet falls on the ground. Dharamraaj notices the bracelet fallen on the ground, he remembers that he only had tightened Mauliks bracelet so that it fits him. He compares the bracelet with the one which the villagers found at the place of incident & is shocked to see that the bracelet found at the place of incident is actually Mauliks. Dharamraaj shows the bracelet to Maulik which leaves in a state of shock. On asking, Maulik reveals that it is Hitens bracelet & he is the one who accidently killed the cow & to conceal the fact he even kidnapped Khemi who was the proof of the entire incident & had stolen Hitens bracelet. Dharamraaj slaps him & tells him that now he will be punished. Hiten interrupts saying that he cannot compare a human beings life to that of a cow & punish him by killing him. Dharamraaj tells him that the decision now lies in the hands of the panchayat. Dharamraaj asks Khemi whether Maulik is the killer to which Khemi agrees. Dharamraaj asks Pinakin to call the panchayat to take the decision there & then. He declares in the panchayat that he mistakenly punished the innocent last time but now he knows who the culprit is. He declares that Maulik is the killer & this time he will not punish him. The one who has suffered from the incident will punish him. Keeping in mind the trend that only Mahiyavanshis decide & punish the guilty, he declares that Santu Dharamraaj Mahiyavanshi will be the one who will punish the culprit this time.
Virat Sanghvi comes to meet Hiten at Madhos house pretending that he was missing Hiten. He tries to bribe him by giving him money & take the diamond which Dharamraaj has given to Madho. Hiten does not get carried away & warns Virat to be in his limits. He tells him that he values the trust which Dharamraaj has on Madho & the faith which Dharamraaj has on Madho is much higher than the amount of money which Virat has offered Hiten. Madho, Khemi & Monghi get impressed on hearing this. Santu dreams about all the happy moments of her life in the past few days. On seeing Santu sleeping, Tarulataben throws a bucket full of water on her & tells her that now her good days are over. Now she needs to face the reality, the same old days when she used to stay on the store room. Maulik is ready to go the factory; Tarulataben, Baa & Babuji bless him & wish him good luck. Inspire of his illness, Madho is working on the sample diamond. On seeing his deteriorating health, Khemi insists Madho to take rest. Sandeep comes to meet Kadambari at Dharamraajs house & asks Tarulataben if he could meet her in her room. In her room, Kadambari shows him the marriage certificate but Sandeep insists that he will face the difficulties & not marry her like a looser. Champakali is about to take some refreshment for Sandeep in Kadambaris room & Tarulataben calls her. Santu notices this & asks Champakali to give her the tray as she would serve him. The phone rings right then & Santu answers the call. Santu feels happy on hearing Meghnas voice; Meghna informs her that Duggu would call up to talk to Kadambari. Santu then goes to Kadambaris room & sees her in Sandeeps arms. On seeing Santu, Sandeep leaves & Kadambari starts scolding Santu. Tarulataben also comes there on hearing Kadamabris voice. On asking, Kadambari tells Tarulataben that Santu was trying to interfere in her personal matters. Tarulatben loses her temper & scolds Santu & tells her to leave. Dharamraaj sees this & Tarulataben informs him that Santu is trying to defame Kadambaris name with some other boy.
