Jack Webb plays Sergeant Joe Friday, a police detective working with his partners against crime in Los Angeles. These stories taken from real police files…the names have been changed to protect the innocent.
I think this was the 2nd in ‘the new series….DRAGNET’, back in 1949. That’s why the music isn’t the same classic ‘dragnet’ sound. dum de dum dum… as they worked out the show, they changed the music…I’m sure glad they did!
