What percentage of Television shows get canceled within there first season?

March 9th, 2010

This is only including network television channels (I.E. Fox, ABC, ect.). And only in the corse of one year so not all of the shows ever canceled on a network.

I would give a rough estimate of nearly 40%…

What are some good television shows for teenagers?

March 2nd, 2010

Well, I’m almost 15, and I feel like every time I turn on the television that there’s nothing good on. My friends all tell me about their weekly schedule, and I would like some programs to help me relax at the end of my school/activity filled day. Any suggestions?

PS – I like to watch shows such as Lost, Life Unexpected, CSI, 10 Things I Hate About You, Glee, and other shows having to do with romance/drama/action/comedy.

If you like lost then you might like Flash Forward. I watch both of those and they’re sort of similar in the whole "keeping you in the dark" thing. It’s a nice change from all the predictable stuff out there lately though

There are certain favorite television shows on air. How can one learn to watch much less television?

February 16th, 2010

It is not easy for him/her to watch less TV or stop watching it because there are favorite TV shows he/she loves. Having favorite television shows makes watching TV very addicting.

But how can one learn to stop watching television? It’s very difficult to do so.

I have this problem!
What I do is not watch new series. For example I don’t watch glee or Modern Family since it’s new. I watch the existing shows and when they get canceled I don’t watch any new shows.
What I actually do is watch canceled shows.

I saw a television ad where there was a handheld children’s TV (I think they came in pink and blue) where they held up to 2 1/2 hours of televisions shows, which you had to plug the unit into the computer and download the episodes off of their company website. I believe Max and Ruby was featured. Thanks for your help!
