Is there anyway to record tv shows on the computer? If there isn’t any connectors on the computer, for the box.
We have an Input thing here on the computer, would that work? One video and 2 audio, I’m I able to just hook up the cable to that?
Someone here got the Media center, and I know you can record tv that way. will it work on xp?

It can be done but you need a video card for your computer.

Then you will hook a TV cable into the video card. The video card will come with the software you need.

Go to Best Buy or Circuit City to get a card.

I suppose, it’s just a feel good factor, people want to smile, and I don’t have a problem with it. Face it, our Earth is in bits, comedy takes us away from all worries, if even it’s only for a few seconds here and there. It’s great that humor is becoming more and more mainstream and a daily part of our lives. Comedy shouldn’t be a genre. It’s too good! I don’t care if it’s a blooper, politically incorrect joke or visual…it’s all good to me! Of course you get the usual idiots cashing in on humor too, but if it makes me laugh or smile, then I don’t really care

Sometimes, they have annoying chinese subtitles (Unfortunately there is no way to get rid of it.
But you get used to it.
When you get to the site, you can click on ‘Go to all television’ OR ‘Go to all Movies’.

I just got tivo and have no idea how to record more then one show at a time and how to record a show without it being on the channel. Anybody know?

To record more than one show at a time the TiVo MUST have a dual tuner. TiVo units have built in tuners for recording. It is this tuner that selects the TV show for recording. Some models have one tuner, some two, to record two programs at the same time the unit must have two tuners.

To record go to the channel guide, find the show you want to record and press the select button. This will highlight the selection. Confirm and it will record that show. You can try and record another show at the same time. The TiVo unit will tell you if it can record it or not.

If you have digital cable TV and a cable converter box and the DVR is not from the cable company then you may have some problems recording two things at once. If this is your case and you have a cable box before the TiVo then you can only record what is on the cable box. That is the converter box being tuned to the channel you want to record. What channel the TV set is on does not matter for recording.

I’ve noticed the shows i watch like law and order (SVU & CI), a new show named white collar and others are based in New York, so why is it that New York is so popular for the shows to be based there?

i konow this is not what you are asking but you qustion is not truly understandable for me there is two things that i hated about watching show on is i alwzys seemed to get stuck at the cell battle and two was the fight with freza i mean i watched on tv and when the battleted they said they only had five minites but ended up taling up 6 episodes or something like that how can a five min fight last so long that almost mad me go crazy
