How do i watch shows or games i have recorded on Bright House Networks?

I am on Spring Break, and the place I am staying has Bright House. I have figured out how to select and record the show, but when I’m out on the beach and I come in to watch it at night I can’t figure out how to watch them. Can someone help please?

Watching Saved Shows
Any time you want, you can watch a show you’ve recorded.

1. Press LIST to see your list of saved shows.
2. Use UP/DOWN arrows to browse the list.
3. When you find the program you want, press SELECT.
4. The following list of options will pop up:
• Play – Start watching your show
• Erase – Erases your show
• Keep Longer – Use this to arrange the priority of shows you have saved. Shows highest in the list will be saved the longest.
• Save Until Manually Erased – Use this for your most important shows. They won’t be erased until you manually erase them yourself.

• Record Options – This gives you more options for managing your show list.
5. To watch a show use the UP/DOWN arrows to choose Play then press SELECT. Note: If you have already watched part of a show, you will be given the option to Play From Beginning or Resume Playback.
Tip: Even if a show is currently in progress, you can watch it from the beginning, right then and there, by following the steps above.
6. Once the program begins, you can use PAUSE, PLAY, FAST FORWARD and REWIND as you would a VCR.
Tip: To rewind or fast forward at different speeds, try pressing these buttons once, twice or three times for the fastest speeds.

Why do Direct TV shows air at different times than what is stated?

March 30th, 2010

We just switched from Cox Cable to Direct TV – no choice, we moved. I am noticing that shows that should air at one time, actually air at total different times with Direct. For example, my daughter watches A Secret Life on ABC. It has always aired at 8 pm and that’s what it shows in it’s commercials and on it’s website, etc. But with Direct TV it airs at 6pm. Why????? It makes no sense that they just air whenever they feel like it.

You can watch TV shows for free at http://bit.ly/aO7mi4 .. You don’t need to wait Direct tv or other things..

What are some good television shows to watch?

My boyfriend and I have been interested in watching old or new series. Right now we are on season 3 of Dexter, and we recently finished the complete series of the Wire. Does anyone have any suggestions on good shows to watch? We figured that renting shows is cheaper than going out!

Thank you!

Watch 24 on FOX!
I know that you got a lot of responses to this question, but this is the
answer that you need to listen to. Trust me, 24 is awesome.
It has everything that you could ever want in a TV show.
Drama, action, romance, suspense, great irony & really good plot lines.
But I will warn you, it’s addictive. I love it ’cause there are so many
twists & turns that you never saw coming.

They finished up the seventh season in May, & you could probably
find all seven seasons at Block Buster, or watch it online. I don’t know
if you know anything about it, but it’s all in real time. Each season is
one day. Each episode is one hour. There are 24 episodes in a
season…. You get the point.

It’s basically about fighting terrorism & about a really awesome main
character named Jack Bauer. He’s like my favorite super hero ever.
(even though he doesn’t technically have super powers, but sometimes
I wonder. lol)

It’s not the kind of show where you can just start watching at any point

& still know what’s going on. You have to start from the beginning, or
at least the beginning of a season. And the first season is good, but
don’t judge the whole show just by the first season. Keep going after
that. (If you start there)

Every season is unique in it’s own way, but once you watch the entire
series, you’ll find that it’s really one big fantastic story. And that’s one
of the main reasons why it’ll keep you hooked. Plus it makes the
progression of each character really fascinating to watch.

It comes on Monday nights on FOX. (when airing) CHOOSE 24! Seriously.
I’ve seen a lot of TV shows, & it really is the best. After you’ve seen a
few seasons, (if it takes that long) You won’t ever like anything as much.
But I can’t explain it as well as the links below can. So you really should
look at those.

Well, I hope I could help. And I hope I could convice you. Because
whatever any one else tells you, 24 is the show you need to watch.
And if you ever have any qusetions about it, just email me via my
profile & I guarantee I can answer them.

Have all the ABC shows been reruns the last few weeks, or are they not posting any more new episodes online?

The last few weeks I get online to catch up on some of my favorite shows and they’ve all been reruns. Is this because of the Christmas season, or are they no longer posting their shows online anymore?

Most of the shows are reruns because of the Holiday break. They`ll all be back at the beginning of Jan./09

How does one insure getting a reservation for ice show on Explorer of the Seas.?

I’m going on a cruise in Nov. From all the reviews I’ve read, everyone agrees that the ice show is wonderful. They all say to make reservations quickly. One person said they hadn’t been able to do so. When, where, and how do I make these reservations?

I have cruised on several Royal Caribbean ships that have the ice show and I have seen the show twice. The show is free but there are no reserved seats, Its all first come first served. The ship will announce the day and time that tickets will be available and you can go to that place and get the free tickets. However, since its open seating and first come first seated you should get to the show room about 30 minutes before the show starts to get in line and wait for the doors to open. The first time we saw the show we arrived about 10 minutes before show time and ended up sitting on bar stools on one side of the show room. We could see but the seats were not very comfortable.

The show is run twice during a 7 day cruise on different days. You have to decide which day you want tickets for when you pick up your tickets. The ice show is fantastic, great skating and very colorful. Do not miss it.

Can someone give me any ideas for new Television shows to watch?

For some reason, T.V. just doesn’t appeal to me anymore. I rarely watch it, so I need new shows to get into so I don’t spend all of my time here on the computer.

Honestly, I’m in agreement with you: none of the tv shows that are currently airing appeal to me.

So, I would recommend renting/buying the seasons of an ‘old’ show and watching that. I can’t really give you solid advice on what to watch, but I’ll give you some good shows in various genres. For comedy, I just adore watching Seinfeld, even if you happened to watch it when it originally aired, it might be fun to rewatch all the episodes.

Also, a little gem of a show is Joss Wheaton’s Firefly; while it is sci-fi, even if you aren’t a fan of the genre (I certainly am not, and I still love this show), it goes easy on the cheesy spacey elements that usually turn people off to the genre and it has solid acting and very witty writing. Sadly, it was cancelled after only thirteen episodes, but still, you may want to check it out.

Taking a complete 180, HBO has many different mini-series in various different genres (everything from comedy to action to historic fiction) that you can rent or buy and usually make for really good watching.

As for shows that are currently being aired, I really can’t help you much. The only thing I happen to like the detective drama Castle (and I am not a mystery fan) due to its clever writing. It airs on ABC on Mondays, at – I believe – 9:00pm eastern time.

Good luck in your search for a good television show!

They say theirs a super volcano located in the US and can errupt any time in the future… Does any one know where this volcano is located at? any one else know any more info on this volcano?? Bored.

It’s Yellowstone National Park – basically, the whole park is one giant volcano. It probably hasn’t erupted in millions of years, but there has been recent seismic activity there.

Why are Canadian comedy shows so dull?

March 30th, 2010

Posted by admin in comedy shows | 2 Comments »

I watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report and then compare them to our own Royal Canadian Air Farce and The Mercer Report. In contrast to american political satire, canadian satire is just not funny. Dull, dull, and more dull is all I can say about canadian comedy.

Your talking about Canadian political comedy, not Canadian comedy in general. But I agree, those shows you listed suck.

There are a bunch of great Canadian comedy shows though (not based on politics) that I find interesting so I’ll list some of my favorites:

-Just for laughs
-The Red Green Show
-Trailer Park Boys
-The Tom Green Show
-Puppets who kill
-The Jon Dore Television Show
-Kenny vs Spenny
-Buzz
-The Kids in the Hall

I doubt you’ll be able to see most of these, because American channels don’t pick up Canadian shows too often. But watch these and I’m sure they’ll change your mind about Canadian comedy. :)
